I always enjoy spending time here. The facilities are always very clean. Food selection is wonderful. The service from employees has always been excellent. One such employee is Jalisse Butler. She has a sparkling personality and is very knowledgeable about the penn player benefits. I always enjoy seeing her working when I stop by the Players Desk.

You have to drive past a sewage processing plant to get here You can smell it all the way in. Their offers and promos they take them away from you and honestly they're not worth even coming up here for I went from getting a $30 penn play every few days to come up and play and they drop me to $5 or $10 I wouldn't waste the gas or the time to come up here. I finally got comp rooms. So I came and ordered in room dining $30 for a roast beef po-boy and fries $5 for a small cup of watered down Sprite.. made my order at 6:32 p.m. started trying to call the front desk and reach out to room service over 30 minutes later never got anyone to answer after sitting on hold for 10 minutes. At 7:20 they knock on my door and drop off this dried out soggy plastic looking sandwich in a greasy box No silverware no napkins no ketchup no nothing. Completely inedible. Had to use Kleenex from the bathroom So I waited nearly an hour to go to bed hungry anyway. 🤦♀️ They are not going to charge me for the food which if they had charged me I would throw a fit. I messaged them and let them know that it's disgusting and it's outside of my door waiting to be picked up right now. You would think a Baton Rouge casino would be known for their good food but definitely not here! Go drive to the end of the road and grab you some fast food You will be much happier.
Yeah I'm aware they reached out on here but not to me they have my email and phone number and yeah I wasn't exactly happy in any of my text messages with them yesterday wish I decided to add for context $30 for room service which first off you can add a payment method but they don't let you use it to pay for your food You have to charge it to your room It will not let you do it outside of that then you have to tip when ordering..... Which I did do and still had to wait an hour for rotten food to go to bed hungry how do they expect a tip before you've even placed your order? So yeah I was not very happy and when I'm not happy nobody's happy especially when they are the reason I'm not happy call me whatever you want. I'm very outspoken.

I could not have been happier with the location of my room. I was not here to gamble and chose the hotel specifically to decompress and be able to stare at the river for hours. I had asked for a high floor and really wasn't expecting one but the young woman checking me in told me they would be able to give me a room on the top floor! I was ELATED! Top floor aside, her demeanor was great and she was SO nice and hospitable.
When I opened the door to the room, the view was breathtaking but the second I just glanced at the room all the surfaces were noticeably unclean. The marble table looked like someone had spilled liquid all over it (literally the sun illuminated the water marks) and the bedside tables were the same. Luckily I travel with Clorox wipes and was able to clean all the surfaces. I kinda forgot about it until I went into the bathroom and the sink had debris and hair in it.... Yuck. I obviously inspected the bed after that and on one side there was hair and other stuff that looked like flecks of something but one side looked clean. I slept on the clean side and avoided the other. The floor seemed like it had been vacuumed. I was pretty grossed out but made due. Honestly I would have slept on the floor for the view--it was worth every piece of dirt and hair and was seriously gorgeous.
I did my research on the view and neglected everything else. There is no fridge or microwave in the room, fyi.
