  An odd experience. It was very empty the night we went drinks weren't exactly great and having to walk all the way to the bar and leave your table for last call so you can be seen is a little silly.

  I had a very disappointing experience at Hollywood Casino the other night. After being there for approximately two hours, I was approached by an assistant manager (Nancy “Nano”) and head of security (Jenny) and was asked if my top was “some sort of bikini top?” I politely said no, “it’s a tank top” then I was told that since my top is a “bikini top.” Confused, I informed them again, that it was not a bikini top, (which I was ignored) and I was told I would either need to cover up or leave. For reference, I was wearing a spaghetti strap tank top and pants. What made the situation confusing is that when I first arrived at the casino, I walked past security and multiple staff members and no one said anything at all about my outfit. I entered without issue and remained there for roughly two hours before suddenly being approached. I brought this concern up directly to the head of security and asked why security had allowed me in without saying anything if my outfit was supposedly an issue. I was told that there had been a “shift change” and that she was “going to notify her staff about the dress code.” That response only created more confusion because if there was an existing policy concern, it raised questions about consistency and communication. That is when I specifically requested to see the casino’s dress code policy so I could understand exactly what rule I was allegedly violating. However, no policy was provided to me despite my request. I also requested to make a formal complaint and was directed to the website. I respectfully explained that I did not feel that response addressed my concern because, in my opinion, if I was truly in violation of a dress code policy, it should have been addressed before I entered the casino rather than after I had already been inside for approximately two hours. As I continued politely asking how I could make a formal complaint, I felt the interaction with Jenny and Nano (Nancy) became increasingly confrontational. I repeatedly attempted to express my concerns and request information on how to file a complaint, but I did not feel my questions were being properly addressed. I felt dismissed and did not feel respected throughout the interaction. I had to repeatedly ask to speak with someone above them before I was eventually provided information and instructed to call Monday and ask for Mike. I have called throughout the day as instructed and have repeatedly been told that he was unavailable. I also asked who was making the decision and was informed it was a joint decision between the assistant manager (Nancy, “Nano) and head of security (Jenny). I also felt very uncomfortable being repeatedly followed (by Jenny) during the interaction. It felt very unnecessary. I understand businesses have the right to enforce policies, but policies should be clear, consistently applied, and available to customers when requested. I am simply asking for clarification, accountability, and a fair explanation regarding how this situation was handled.

  Nice size casino. Very clean. Lots of free parking. Complimentary water bottles. Lots of slots and gaming tables. Good food options at decent prices.

  A beautiful vibrant casino with plenty of machines and tables. Generous free play for new guests which won me $200 for the night. Would recommend

You might want to reevaluate your female server dress code. Indecent exposure is inappropriate and is abuse. Do you care about your customers? You have at least 1 female manager who does not care at all specifically about customers who have complex PTSD & are sexual assault victims. Your customers have federal disability rights and hopefully you prioritize respecting them.
