  Really enjoyed our day rafting with The Whole bunch. Jesse was a great guide and enjoyed the history of the area he shared with us . Appreciated his jokes and he enjoys his job it showed. Thanks for a great day! Also appreciated the meals and stops along the way! Great Time.

  The rafting part of Rawhide Outfitters is now its own company called Rawhide River Trips. Rawhide Outfitters doesn't do rafting on the Salmon. That said, we've had many amazing experiences over the years with Rawhide River Trips (and Rawhide Outfitters before them). The owners are extremely accommodating for diverse groups. They provide transportation to the river for large groups. (Can you say party bus?) The river guides are always experienced and personable. They do a great job on the river. The snacks and meals they serve are homemade and delicious. For the full-day trip, they serve the meal at a beautiful place alongside the river with tables, shade, and porta-potties. They offer digital photos of your group going over Pine Creek Rapid, and those photos are worth the cost (currently $70 per raft or a negotiated cost for large groups). I recommend this company 100%!

  This is a stellar business. They sent buses to pick us up in Salmon. We were issued life jackets that fit properly. The safety instructions were comprehensive. The guides were cheerful and competent. Side trips were informative. The whitewater was thrilling. Lunch was plentiful and delicious. Everyone had fun. I am a multiple repeat customer!

  Your crew was awesome and we had a blast! The littles both got an oar and they thought it was the best day ever. Food was yummy, the weather was perfect and I got over my fear of fast water. We highly recommend to anyone taking the family on this adventure!!!

  We had a great time on the Scenic Kayak trip! Our guide, Nate, was knowledgeable about the area and the river itself. He ensured we were aware of any obstacles (wood, rocks, ect) and instructioned us when needed to avoid them. They also provided snacks and water. The rest of the staff were friendly, prompt and commuicated very well. The views from the river were amazing! We were able to see some wildlife as well. We would highly recommend the Scenic Kayak trip.
