  Fabulous experience, above expectations. We did a 3-day/2-night trip as a family (kids 9 and 12) and it was the highlight of our year. Working with MRO was easy, from scheduling and communication for trip prep all the way through to post-trip drop off. We felt like they really gave us warm, personal attention and an experience catered to our group's preferences. The guides were amazing - Catie and Nick were our main guides but the whole team was fantastic and truly provided a full-service experience with comfy tents on white sand beaches, gourmet meals, landscape and historical knowledge, and of course some good jokes along the way. The guides prioritized safety and never sacrificed fun. We wholeheartedly recommend MRO!!

  WOW. Think no further when looking for a Guide. MRO is great. My family (ages 85 to 14) just took the 3-day lower river trip. I could not have asked for a better. Our group had a wide range of experience, ranging from never been camping to frequent outdoorsmen. The seamless way the guides made everyone feel safe, entertained and active during the trip was amazing. Larkin, Issac and Chuck are a dream team for sure. I cannot thank them enough. Arriving to camp each day with tents set up and shaded canopy waiting was great. It allowed us to not worry around set up and enjoy the river, and get some fishing in. The food was 5 star that we were over the moon about. We left wanting recipes but were so amazed on the freshness and preparedness MRO provided each day. No hot dogs on sticks here for sure. We saw lots of options when looking for a guided trip. I am so happy we chose Mountain River Outfitters. They allowed a Multi-generational trip, that got us all of comfort zone, to happen. Thanks so much and we will be back

  i was on the 3-day lower salmon trip, and had a medical event after just a half-day of paddling! our guides jase and larkin were amazing! they were kind, professional and were obviously well-trained in wild-land decision making. they made the right call to evacuate me off the river. i'm so grateful for the help they provided.

  Just wrapped a 2 day experience with MRO and can't sing their praises loud enough! Big shout out to Nick, our incredible guide, who was so knowledgeable, skilled, and kind. Also want to give a huge shout-out to Ally, Phil, and Isaac who worked to provide us with a 5-star experience. The meals were out of this world - I'm still trying to figure out how they manage to crank out food like that at camp. It's clear that these guys have thought of everything in meticulously planning the trips. Being able to truly unplug and relax was priceless. Walked away with a profound appreciation for Idaho, the Salmon River, and MRO. We'll most certainly be back!

  This was truly an experience of a lifetime. We had 11 family members ranging in age from 14-85 and did the 3 day trip. Everyone was so well taken care of. I cannot say enough about our guides, Larkin, Isaac and Chuck. They were amazing and we felt completely safe at all times. They made sure we had everything we needed and gave us an unforgettable experience both on the water and at camp. The meals they prepared were FIVE STAR complete with appetizers and desserts. If you are looking to unplug, get out into the most beautiful nature views and have the time of your life, I highly recommend this trip. Thank you MRO for the BEST time!
