  My wife and I did the Early Bird float with Kingfisher River Co. on September 29, 2026. Both Blake and Sadie were communicative leading up to the float. They made sure that we knew the plan and asked us what our preference was for time and distance. We had a wonderful chat with Blake on the float and really liked the story of their company and the wide variety of float options they offer from scenic floats around town, to more boisterous day trips, and multi-day camping trips. The morning started a bit cool so Blake thoughtfully brought warm blankets. He also set up a small table on the sweepboat with pasteries, cheese, smoked trout, and plenty of hot coffee. His knowledge about the area was appreciated and he pointed out wildlife and interesting features along the way. If you are looking for a well-run, knowledgable, and friendly company to experience the Salmon River, we highly recommend Kingfisher River Co. Both Blake and Sadie have had years of experience in the whitewater guiding business and know what customers need to have a wonderful Salmon River experience.

  We had a great morning float on the Salmon River with Kingfisher River Co. They made sure we had everything we needed, and it is obvious they enjoy what they do. The sweep boat is a very unique experience, and a great way to see the river first thing in the morning. I highly recommend it. Great for all ages.

  Wonderful float. Relaxed, good company, gracious and knowledgeable host\guide. Great food and a lovely finish to the float under dark skies of stars! Beautiful!

  Had a wonderful float and dinner down the Salmon River with Kingfisher! Blake and Sadie were great to work with to arrange this last minute booking. Would book with them again.

  Beautiful evening! Food was great. Guides were experienced and knowledgeable about local history. Highly recommend Kingfisher River Company…… Very relaxing evening enjoying the river, wildlife and twighlight sky…… Thank you Kingfisher!!
