  We just had the best day with Blake on the river! We so enjoyed our day trip on the river on the wonderful sweep boat with inflatable kayaks, such a comfortable and relaxing float with some very exciting moments over big rapids! The Kingfisher company is truly legit, with such great people, equipment, transportation, food, fun, adventure and just a perfect day on the river! We have memories for a lifetime thanks to the Kingfisher River Company!

  Just WOW!! From the booking of the trip to the return to our vehicles after the Dinner Float - this was one JOYFUL trip!! We live in Salmon and had out-of-State visitors. We decided to bring Fred & Chris Thompson along with us! (Chris is very afraid of water, and shared after the trip, that she is "ready for the next level of River Rafting"!!) Dinner was beyond our expectation. Such moist, flavorful butter infused Salmon cooked on a cedar plank with lemony Beurre Blanc, couscous - and Chocolate Mousse for Desert!! Perfect! If you've not booked a trip with Sadie & Blake King, you're missing out on something very special. We will definitely book another trip ASAP! Sherry & Ken Sherman

  I recently had the pleasure of taking a trip on the main Salmon River in Idaho with King Fisher River Company, and it exceeded every expectation. We happened to get a rainy week, but Blake and the other guide, Ellery, turned what could have been a challenging trip into an incredible experience. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and well cared for. Blake set up tarps to keep us dry, built fires to keep us warm, and never seemed to stop looking for ways to make the trip more enjoyable for everyone the food alone deserves five stars. While they were out in the rain, taking care of all of us, Blake and Ellery prepared an amazing riverside lunch! The breakfasts and dinners at the lodge were absolutely outstanding. Every meal was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and far beyond what I expected on a river trip. What impressed me most was a genuine hospitality and attention to detail. Blake and Ellery worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every guest was comfortable, safe, and having a great time. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication were evident throughout the entire trip. I can’t say enough about how well we were taken care of. If you’re considering a Rafting Trip on the main salmon river I highly recommend King Fisher River Company. It was an unforgettable experience and I look forward to going again. Thank you, Blake, Sadie, and Ellery, and of course, I can’t forget Moxie and Augie the best entertainment!

  An Unforgettable Adventure on the River! We recently had the pleasure of going on a white water rafting trip with this company, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The entire trip was incredibly well-organized, making the day stress-free and smooth for everyone involved. A highlight of the day was the delicious snacks and lunch provided. It was such a unique and lovely touch to have our meals served on the smaller, scenic beach areas along the river. Our guides, Blake and his assistant, were fantastic. Not only were they incredibly competent and safety-conscious, but they were also friendly and fascinating people to spend the day with. They shared such interesting historical insights about the river and were wonderful at spotting wildlife, which made the trip even more fun and engaging for our group. Our party included a mix of experienced white water rafters and complete first-timers, and I am thrilled to say that everyone had an absolute blast. It was a perfect adventure for all skill levels! A quick tip for future rafters. Just be sure to note that the meeting place, as stated in the final details trip email, is at the General Store, not the address listed on their website and the flyer. We couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water and highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional, fun, and memorable rafting experience. We will definitely be back!

Our 3-day, 2-night adventure was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the KingFisher team made us feel completely taken care of — knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the river and the experience they provide. The guides were absolute pros — skilled on the water, full of great stories, and incredibly attentive to safety and fun in equal measure. Each stretch of the river brought something new, and they knew exactly how to make every moment memorable. A huge highlight was our stay at NorthFork Lodge — truly amazing. The accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, and so well-suited to the surroundings. After a full day on the river, coming back to the lodge felt like the best possible reward. The atmosphere, the staff, and the attention to detail made it feel like a luxury retreat tucked right into nature. Five stars doesn't feel like enough. KingFisher River Company has nailed the perfect combination of adventure, hospitality, and natural beauty. We're already talking about our next trip. Don't hesitate — book it!
