  Always enjoy my experience here Unfortunately they no longer rent out used gear, and I don’t think they do yard sales anymore. But still a great place to buy reliable gear!

  Plenty of good outdoor gear/ equipment for lots of different cinarios. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Some stock low and inflation is taking its toll as prices always seem to increase. Overall happy, plenty of parking and easy access for all.

  I purchased a pair of Keen sandals from REI and wore them only three or four times over four months. Both sandals broke in the exact same location, which strongly suggests a product defect rather than normal wear and tear. When I brought them back, the store manager, Colby, told me they could not be returned because she believed the damage was due to wear and tear. When I explained they had only been worn a handful of times and both failed in the same spot, my concerns were dismissed. The interaction was unfriendly, dismissive, and left me feeling like REI had no interest in standing behind the products it sells. With so many outdoor retailers competing for customers, service matters. This experience, combined with REI’s declining selection, has convinced me to take my business elsewhere.

  Drive over an hour to buy some camping mattresses they were both used, complete with leaves and dog hair. They try to sell them as new so I left. What a waste of my time. When I called the manager on duty she cut me off saying she’s not making excuses for her employees, then made excuses. Also that she handled it after the fact with no apology no care. Never shopping there again, service has gone downhill.
