  Lift lines can get very long the main lift is a double and to the left is a old slow borvig triple and those always get packed they should've turned the double into a triple back when they made it from a hall to a full parted

  We used this venue for both our wedding and reception. On the positive side, the bartenders were amazing, the pricing was reasonable, and they handled the table and chair setups & breakdown for both events. However, their attention to detail left a lot to be desired. We explicitly opted out of using their wedding arch, but they put it up anyway. It was very heavy, and instead of removing it themselves, they left us to take it down. If you book here, double-check that they actually listen to your setup requests so you don't end up doing heavy lifting on your big day.

  Mt Southington is a great mountain to visit if you want to spend your time on the slopes/in the lodge rather than in the car. Out kids have loved the instructions, rentals are a breeze and the dining options exceed expectations. The instructions have been really good with our 5 year old now riding a chairlift and loving his interactions with the staff. It's a great way to spend a day whether you're skiing/riding or hanging out while the kids are in lessons. It's not the tallest mountain but it is the most convenient and add the hospitality is great.

  The Kids had an absolute blast with a semi private group lesson with Mark. Everyone was nice and helpful. This place is perfect for lessons!

  Great ski location, especially for kids and beginners. The parking is easy to navigate, there are several magic carpets and early learning slopes, and the whole layout is kid friendly. There are several indoor and outdoor options for food, so the lines are not too long and the prices for food are reasonable. They offer a variety of lessons for all ages and abilities.
