Nestled in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in Central Connecticut, Buck's Rock Camp is really like no other arts sleep away summer camp. We are a low-key, non-competitive haven where artists ranging in ages from 11 to 17 are free to choose their own creative and performing arts projects and activities. Every day at Buck’s Rock Camp is a new opportunity for self-discovery and creative expression. From the professionally-equipped studios and exciting performance spaces, to the state-of-the-art recording facilities and pool, campers are free to try anything and everything! Campers come away from a summer feeling empowered to make thoughtful decisions, and having made friends for the rest of their lives.

But something about Buck’s Rock caught my attention even at the website. Scott, the Director captured my son’s full attention at our first online meeting - he wanted to know everything about my son, down to what music and foods he liked. Upon arrival, my son immediately said “oh I like this” 😃. He’s 15, usually not a great communicator but that changed this summer. All the children, staff gave him no choice and included him on everything - the activities were endless! My son can’t wait to go back to Bucks Rock and the staff….they love the kids genuinely and it shows! Amazing!!
