  First time going to an rei and having notably bad/disrespectful customer service. From multiple people across different, very normal situations. Will absolutely not be coming back to this location.

  Their member benefits of taking returns is no longer a thing. I purchased an expensive pair of shoes only to have them rip at a seam in 6 months. I was told it was just wear and tear and shoes only last six months. I will never shop there again I will purchase a new pair of shoes from Sierra across the street at least if the shoes are only going to last 6 months Sierra isn’t gouging on their prices.

  Always excellent options for outdoor gear. Their technical clothing tends to be high quality and last much longer than normal clothing. They have qualified people helping in shoes that make the experience much easier and they have a generous return policy when things don't work out as planned. I love REI and if you're an outdoor person, you will too. They also give member discounts and rebates and have great holiday sales.
