My husband and I made a special trip to Grind Junction in Grand Junction on Memorial Day because my husband only had that one day off. A full week in advance, he tried multiple times to confirm they would be open. No one ever answered the phone despite repeated calls. We even messaged them on social media and received no response.
As a last resort, we asked a nearby business to walk over and check for us. They kindly did, and Grind Junction replied via Instagram confirming they would be open on Memorial Day. We drove over an hour to get there, only for them to message us again 10 minutes before we were going to arrive on Instagram at the last minute saying they had changed their minds and were actually closed.
The complete lack of basic communication and respect for customers’ time is shocking. They couldn’t be bothered to answer their phone, respond promptly, or give accurate information — resulting in us wasting gas, time, and my husband’s only day off. This is some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced from a small business.
If you value reliability and basic professionalism, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Very disappointed.
