  Visited store to pick up some camping gear as an absolute beginner and was approached by Cam, a salesperson at the store and he took his time with us and was very patient and knowledgable. He turned an overwhelming experience into a comfortable one. Furthermore, Angel at checkout had the best customer service I have encountered in retail thus far, just a real pleasure to interact with. Will be looking for them upon every visit.

  REI is always great, not only for the quality of items, but also for the staff. Everyone is aways friendly and eager to help. I dropped off my bike on Saturday for a service, was told they'd start on Monday, done maybe Tuesday or Wednesday (which I was happy with). Got a text before COB Saturday that is was done. Lol. That's cool.

  There are moments when I wish I could give a great store more than five stars. I bought a pair of hiking boots there that unfortunately hurt my feet. I was truly surprised and grateful that they refunded my money after I had already used the boots, simply because I was a member of the store. Peri went out of her way to help me replace the boots. She was incredibly knowledgeable. After examining my feet, she carefully narrowed down the options and kindly allowed me to take my time choosing from their wide selection. She even postponed her break to continue assisting me, which meant so much.

  Awesome place to buy outdoors, climing , mt biking and everything else you need with associates that are experienced in the products they sale member savings is crazy good my store for life

  REI Fort Collins is the ultimate basecamp for adventure! Whether you're prep-ping for a Rocky Mountain hike or just need the perfect flannel for Old Town, this spot delivers. The staff are true gear-heads—super knowledgeable and genuinely stoked to help. I love the "test trail" for hiking boots and the massive bike shop for quick tunes. It’s organized, buzzing with local energy, and practically a playground for adults who love the outdoors. Five stars!
