Martial Arts School
McMahon Training Center is a martial arts academy in Fort Collins, Colorado, specializing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Muay Thai Kickboxing for adults and kids. As an Amal Easton and Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu affiliate school, we provide professional martial arts training for beginners through advanced students. Our programs help students develop practical self-defense skills, fitness, confidence, discipline, and effective striking and grappling techniques. All classes are taught in a safe, welcoming, and professional training environment. Conveniently located in Midtown Fort Collins near College Avenue and the MAX Spring Creek Station.

The coaches didn't really seem focused on helping beginners, and I felt completely ignored during most of the class. It is really hard to get better when the people in charge don't pay attention to your form or safety. I felt pretty discouraged by the end of the session and don't see myself returning to train there.

My son has also been taking the kids’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class, and it’s been a great fit—well-organized, engaging, and supportive. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to help, and the gym has a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere that makes it easy to keep showing up and improving. If you’re looking for a place to start training with the whole family—I highly recommend McMahon Training Center.

My 10-year-old son wanted to try for the first time and they made it easy and where friendly and welcoming. He’s really enjoying his time here and I think we’re gonna be here for a while.
