- CCChris CoghlanJul 30, 20262.0I buy a ton of stuff from REI. I do love this store but recently I bought a pair of shoes. Wore them two hikes and they basically completely fell apart. I went to go return them and they said they couldn't return them because they were too used so much for the year return policy. That's the reason why I was returning them. I shouldn't have a $200 pair of shoes fall apart after hiking 20 miles.
