Worst $2,500 I’ve ever spent. They sold me a bike, the back tire went flat right away, I asked them to replace it because it was new, they lied and said yes, they “fixed” it and it went flat again. I confronted them and asked why they didn’t replace the tire like I asked, and then they tried to blame me for the problem and acted as though it was unreasonable for me to have expected them to replace the tire, even though the bike was brand new and they said they would.
It has been a little over two months and they still are refusing to replace the tire. I’ve gotten to ride my bike maybe … five times since I got it, in large part because three times it has been irreparably flat and it has been difficult to get it fixed. Hauling my bike back and forth from the Trek store isn’t easy because I work a 9-5 and they close at 6 and aren’t open on Sundays - which is why I asked them to replace the tire, instead of attempting a half-baked repair.
The bike has been flat for a month now because this situation has been paralyzing. I don’t want to return my bike, but I also don’t want to continue to fight them to replace the tire, which they are still refusing to do, and at this point I think they would probably lie again about fixing it. I also don’t want to pay to have the tire replaced myself because it is brand new and the bike shops in Denver have such bad reviews … but at this point I’m giving up on Trek. It’s a crappy situation because I thought I would have a reliable place to go to get my bike fixed and now I have a broken bike, nowhere to go, and no timeline on when this bike will actually be fixed.
Overall bad experience. I would avoid this shop. This situation should have been really easy and simple to resolve and has been really terrible.

Needs a store dog or music, place is boring and stale. Employees seem like non social introverts. Clean, well kept parking sucks

In December, I spent $2000 on a bicycle overhaul. The team was great. Service was great. However, the bike I had serviced still doesn't work. 6 months, 2 different bike shops involved, still....no outcome. They say its my fault, because the bike was so old. They returned half of my money, but non of my time. I still think, if the bike was too old for service, they should of said something and not taken my money.
