the staff made very little atttemp to answer my question of what the prior song on their in-house music was when i asked them... the 3rd staff brought in told me,"it can't be known"... id be willing to bet less than 20% understand the importance or history of the building they work in daily...... do some training and do some trash pick up around your building

Ope, they got me. $5 parking for 1hr 6min. Unrelated, I tried on 11 shirts from various brands and they were all kinda … the same? Not high enough quality to warrant spending $80 a piece. I wish there was more variety than polyester in grey, blue, black, and green.

Customer service at the Flagship location is terrible! Employees are more concerned about stocking shelves (or chit chatting) than actually selling product. Encountered 7 associates and only 2 were helpful...yet we still left without the products we came in for, despite both the website and their inventory saying they had them. And since the building is so large (and historically cool) it was a complete waste of time wandering around looking on our own.

The cashier told me that getting an REI membership would cost $30 but I would get $30 back, making it free, implying that the $30 would be used on my purchase. She waited until AFTER I paid the $30 to tell me that the credit couldn't be used until tomorrow, meaning I would have to come back and buy something else. She also told me that I would get 10% off all purchases, but left out that I wasn't getting 10% off this purchase. Now I have to either go back to REI and buy something else, or lose my $30. I saved no money, and have now been conned into spending another $30 at REI. Had I known that was the deal I was being given, I wouldn't have agreed. This is clearly deception and I feel taken advantage of. I am appalled that a company as profitable as REI would stoop to scamming its own customers out of their hard-earned money.

Everyone ice ever met that works there seems to really love it. I have always been able to get my questions answered, and if they don't have a specific product that I'm looking for, they're OK with saying so instead of obfuscating or beating around the bush about it. Plus, they more than likely have it available to order, and everyone is super knowledgeable to be able to place an order for you. 10/10 I find myself coming back more and more often
