This place is great for a family afternoon. I have 2 boys under 10 and we always have a great time bowling, playing pool, having lunch/snack, and of course, playing in the arcade.
The staff has always been great but we just had my son’s birthday here and it was fantastic. The staff were amazing! The front desk person, I think GL, helped me figure out how to coordinate it all for our 5 guests and went out of her way to make sure we had a great time.
As a parent, this place is a hidden gem as I can have a fun afternoon with my kids and even enjoy a beer and watch a game while my kids have a blast in the arcade.
Worst Experience ever at Lucky Strike. Manny the manager at the time Who is very unprofessional, we ordered a tropical bonfire. He stated due to the fact that the bartender I’ve already cleaned the bar. The tropical bonfire will not come in the cup that it usually comes in. We went back-and-forth for about 15 minutes. Nothing was resolved. He said that we could go to the bar and take a picture of a cup if we are that desperate to look at it and the price is not based off the cup. Clearly this is false advertisement and that is no way to speak to customers. I’ve been to Lucky Strike plenty of time never had this issue manny needs to be study or be moved around clearly he hates his jobs. What I order to what I got.

The arcade is nice, and the bartender was good. Bowling alleys seem a bit unlevel. The man with the glasses, dark hair and bleached tips; not a welcoming presence (Jesus was his name). We spent good money to be here and play games, and have been respectful and kind; and everyone was hospitable. Except, jesus. He counted down the minutes for us while we cashed out our points, he didn’t say you’re welcome when we said thankyou, and frankly…he shouldn’t be in the hospitality field. I’m sure he knows this.
Very unfortunate experience. A great time turned very sour. We checked in as a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids). We enjoyed the first game and decided to stay for a second game because the kids were having fun. We ordered some food and drinks. Part way through the second game (we were literally finishing up 9th round), a manager or someone in charge came by abruptly and said in a very rude and unkind way, we had to get out now. You can’t finish your game, there is a group that booked the whole place at 6pm and it’s 6pm now, you have to get out. And we’re like what?? Can we please finish our game, we were almost done (we literally all had our last bowl for the 10th round left). Nope, have to get out immediately and can talk at the front desk. It was like he was embarrassed we were there and he needed us out immediately. So we had to leave whatever we had left of food/drinks, get our shoes on and vacate immediately. No niceties from the management. I walked to the desk and said this is absolutely ridiculous and so rude, we need a refund. Long story short, we did get our shoes and games refunded. The person said that that the person checking us in should have told us. But no heartfelt apologies. Very business-like and robotic. Very abrupt and rude. We could have been approached in such a nicer way. The kids were super disappointed because we didn’t get a chance to finish the game and they wanted to see how their scores improved from the first game. After the conversation with management and refund, etc, I went by our lane to do a quick check because we had to run out… and guess what? No one at our lane. Actually from looking just immediately around, no one in lanes 9, 11 and 12. Lane 10 had two people standing there who hadn’t even started a game. We were in lane 11 and could have totally finished up our game (literally the last round and we would have been out in the same time) and Lucky Strike would have been $200 richer from our group. Now we have no interest in ever returning. Who wants to be abruptly told to leave? The management needs some serious courses in basic human kindness.

Every time we visit Denver, we come to Lucky Strike. We never come in a small group and the atmosphere is great, the staff is awesome but AV is amazing! He definitely deserves a raise. This place can get pretty busy but he was doing his thang, making sure everyone got what they asked for, checking on us every couple of minutes. He was so professional, kind and generous of all our needs. Any time you're in Denver, Lucky Strike is the place to come for bowling, to have a couple of drinks or just to have a great time! Make sure to look for AV, he'll definitely take care of you....I hope he gets a raise.
