  This Casino has the lost fun, guest atmosphere low, less than use to seeing in the past! I received in the mail a 25.00 play on my member card and when I got to the casino it was only $1 play, No birthday comps, not coming back to the Golden Nugget Casino 🤨

  We have stayed at the Golden Nugget several times, and it has always been one of our preferred places to stay when visiting Cripple Creek. In the past, the hotel offered its own shuttle service, making it convenient and safe for guests to visit other casinos along Bennett Avenue. Unfortunately, that shuttle is no longer available\. The town does not have ride-share services, and the local city shuttle stops running at 9:00 p.m. Far too early for guests visiting casinos in the evening. After spending time at another casino, we were left to walk uphill in the rain to return to the hotel. It felt as though our only choices were to walk in bad weather or drive after drinking, neither of which is acceptable. A casino hotel should encourage guests to make safe choices, but instead, we felt completely abandoned. As loyal, returning guests, we were extremely disappointed. After this experience, we will not be back.

  This place is horrible. They advertise a room with 2 beds for 4 people and then you get a room with a pull out bed. The staff really doesn’t care. Not very accommodating. To add insult to injury at 1:30am this morning the fir alarms went off and the hotel had to be evacuated. We stood out waiting to go back to bed. Never again will we stay here.

  No frills hotel and modest casino. The hotel has only a drinking fountain to fill up your water bottles, no gym (a very, very shabby gym is provided at the "sister location" up the hill), and no complimentary coffee or anything else in the morning. The room was acceptable but the television service was intermittent. Location is very close to town, but other hotels are right in town so if proximity to multiple casinos is a priority this it not the best location.

  Stayed on night in a "jr. Suite" just a tiny room with a full sized bed (not a queen) with a grimy pull out love seat. Tv didnt work fridge didnt work. Sheets didnt even fit the bed. Beds and pillows we're hard. Blankets felt like paper. No "snacks" in the vending machine and only 1 microwave for the whole hotel to share. Also why isnt there ice on every floor? I was on the 4th floor and had to go to the lobby for ice. The whole place is dumb and inconvenient. I would give this place negative stars if i could. Sad i wasted money at that place. O also there was a storm so when we went to ask someone about the tv and fridge the old lady at the front was super rude. Told me it was because of lightning but now i see from other reviewers that she is a liar. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
