Unethical. I was lied to about spot price, lied to about the premium, and they skimmed a few bucks off the top. I got into my car, counted my money, went back in and was lied to more. They gave me a buck and some change back and made me feel bad for double checking the math. Never going back. Lady behind the counter was nice. It’s the older dude who I assume is the owner that I had the issues with. (Update after their response.) Even after I got cash back it still wasn’t enough. when I came back I was told spot was more than it was (even though the board posted less) also I was told I was buying silver for $1 over spot but charged $1.50 over spot - even after I came back… Doing the math I paid $134 when I should have paid $126.5. I came back in and got $1.50 back but not enough to match spot plus premium - even after coming back in. With so many small “slips” (6% more than agreed upon) I can’t imagine what the big ones are. -Again, the gal was awesome. No shade on her.

I have done business with Jeff, Tami, amd Lynette for about 6 mths now. Jeff has taught me a tremendous amount about collecting coins and paper, $ grading and how and when to buy and sell. Today I was in the shop and Jeff made a mistake on a shop buy value and took the time and effort to make it right with me with zero prodding or pushing. He simply went back to his area grabbed what he needed and stood by his word 100%and did what he said. I really can't say enough about the crew at Centennial Gold and Silver. And if I could give them 10 🌟's I would. Don't waste your time gambling with these other shops. Go talk to Jeff, Tami or Lynette right now. Dont just buy, form a relationship. They're one of a kind!!! Thank you so much Jeff for your integrity and good business practices. Appreciate all of you and this is where I will always buy and trade. Period.

Ruined one of my pieces by directly dropping acid onto the jewelry. I watched a bigger lady drop the same acid on 2 different karats. 10 and 14 to which it ruined a 10k piece of mine and stained the 14. I was ignorant and shouldn’t have let her do that. She then tried to tell me both pieces were fake and didn’t seem to enjoy helping me with my other items. I somehow was able to go to another vendor who tested my gold properly and bought said “fake gold” from me. From my new understanding you should never drop acid directly onto jewelry and the fact that it was the same acid makes me wonder what was really going on. They had 2 sweet older folk who greeted me but they then passed me onto the not so helpful lady who seemed bothered to do her job. Very disappointed and hope it doesn’t happen to anybody else. Editing because they responded, I’ve never seen anybody use the same acid on different karats…
