I’ve been coming to Splash Zone since I was around 5 years old, and I’ve never experienced anything like this before. During my family’s private event on June 6,I saw a male staff member who had been working inside the park. Later, while my friend and I were near the deep end by the diving board, we noticed him on the other side of the fence outside the pool area cracking an actual whip..It was unexpected and made several of us uncomfortable. I’ve always enjoyed visiting Splash Zone, which is why this incident was so surprising to me.

1st. Speak up & clear 2nd. If someone hands you their credit card had it back to them don’t just lay it down, Respect goes a long way. This new age generation is rude & disrespectful 3rd. If you pay for slide activity let the parents know that someone else is putting on the wrist band. 6-15-26

My son and I traveled from Little Rock to visit the facility. Upon arrival, we were denied entry because my son was wearing regular shorts rather than swim shorts. Staff then informed me that if my son wore a swim diaper, he would be allowed to enter while wearing the shorts. I agreed to this solution and requested a swim diaper. However, when the staff member provided the diaper, it was actually a pull-up. I explained that my son is six years old and could not fit into a pull-up. At that point, I requested a refund since the alternative offered by staff was not a realistic option for my child. I was then told that I would not receive a refund because I had already been informed of the policy. When I explained that I had driven from Little Rock and could not simply return another day, I was told that the only option available was a "rain check," which was handwritten on my receipt along with the employee's initials. My biggest concern is the inconsistent enforcement of the policy. While my son was being denied entry for wearing shorts, there were numerous other children already inside the splash park wearing shorts. After I contacted Parks and Recreation to file a complaint, staff immediately began patrolling the facility and requiring other children wearing shorts to leave. This strongly suggests that the policy was not being enforced consistently prior to my complaint. This situation was frustrating, unfair, and disappointing, especially for my child. If a dress code or swimwear policy exists, it should be clearly communicated and enforced equally for all guests. Selective enforcement creates confusion and leaves families feeling singled out. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that Splash Zone establish and consistently enforce a clear code of conduct and attire policy for all visitors.
