Stonehaven Club Campsite has an enviable seaside location at Stonehaven Bay, perfect for a family seaside break. The historic town and harbour of Stonehaven, with its quaint shops and choice of restaurants is just a short walk away along the promenade. There is also a challenging cliff top golf course nearby. The Club campsite is also a paradise for those who enjoy the great outdoors - there are scenic beach walks to the cliffs of Dunnottar Castle, just 2 miles away, and a wide choice of footpaths and cycle routes amongst the attractive countryside nearby.

- HAH ABC-DEFMay 1, 20265.0We both loved this campsite. The welcome we received was so friendly. The facilities were really clean. 3 minutes walk from it is the beach, fish and chip shop. You get a discount from that if you show them the key from the campsite. We will definitely be returning.

Es wurden auf die Sehenswürdigkeiten aufmerksam gemacht und auch Flyer mitgegeben. Mit dem Schlüssel für die Anlagen bekam man 10% Rabatt in einem nahen Fish&Chips-Lokal. Empfehlenswert! Die sanitären Anlagen, wie auch der Platz sehr sauber. Zentral gelegen zum Wasser. Alles sehr empfehlenswert. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Tag in Stonehaven💕.

There was already 1 in the queue that had not been turned away so thought it ok to wait That was not the case. If arriving early is an issue then as soon as anyone arrives before 1pm they should be asked to return and not allow them to wait 10 mins then come out to hand a typed statement about arriving early He wasn’t happy when I said I didn’t need to be told like that….his response was that I should have stayed in the car park and he was reporting me to the club, said with a very arrogant attitude We left immediately and will never return. I will when the office opens call the club

Can non-members book campsites online?
Yes, non-members can book selected Club campsites online. Non-members are required to pay an additional supplement of �15 per night to stay upon arrival at site. Tent pitches can also be booked online, there is no non-member supplement to be paid when booking a tent pitch.
Does the Club own any overseas sites?
We work closely with over 310 campsites which are regularly visited and inspected by Club staff. We don't own or directly manage any overseas sites.
How do I book an overseas site?

Do I need a different driving licence for driving a motorhome or towing a caravan?
If you passed your test before 1st January 1997, you are able to drive any combination of car and caravan, or any motorhome with a weight of up to 7500kg (or 8250kg with a trailer). If your licence starts after 1st January 1997 then you can drive a car and caravan with a combined maximum weight of 3500kg (or 4250kg to include a small trailer weighing no more than 750kg). You can also drive a motorhome with a weight of up to 3500kg (with a small trailer of up to 750kg, or a heavier trailer if the combined maximum weight is no more than 3500kg). For all drivers aged 70 and over, the motorhome weight allowance is reduced to 3500kg maximum weight, unless a medical report is supplied.

How do I access the free Wi-Fi?
When you arrive at the campsite, you will be able to access FREE Wi-Fi (for basic browsing and emails only) after registering on the portal. The portal is only available when you are located in the hotspot area on a Club campsite offering Wi-Fi.
Where on the site will the hotspot be located?
The wireless hotspot will be located close to reception. Sharing a limited bandwidth with others may also vary the speed of service with some sites being a distance from the exchange. Our service is suitable for basic web surfing and emails but not updates or streaming e.g. BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
Do I have to be a member to stay on a UK campsite?
Non-members are welcome to book and stay at many of the Club campsites, however there are some that are member-exclusive. This information is available on each individual campsite webpage. Members may bring friends or family too, as long as they stay for the same duration.
How long can you stay on a Club Campsite?
Yes, however, if you have multiple pitch types booked within the duration of your stay, it may not be possible for you to remain on the same pitch for your entire stay. During busy periods you will potentially need to move to the pitch(es) you originally booked.
Can I stay on Club campsites with a tent?
It�s likely that since the Directory was printed, the campsite has withdrawn from our network and so will not appear online. If you feel that there is still an error, please phone us on 01342 327 490.
Can I book different pitch types throughout a stay?

Trailer tents and folding campers are considered the equivalent to a caravan, rather than a tent so they are therefore accepted on Club campsites that wouldn�t normally permit conventional tents. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are self-build conversions welcome?
Yes, roof top tents are welcome at our Club campsites. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are trailer tents and folding campers welcome?
Boats aren�t designed to be used for accommodation on land and so, unfortunately, we don�t accept them on our campsites. The only exception to this is Wilderness Boats, which are small canal boats that are purposely designed for dual use on the land and in the water. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are roof top tents welcome?
New members can have online access as little as one hour after joining online. Your email confirmation containing your membership number usually arrives within 48 hours of joining online.
Are boats on trailers welcome?
You can include a joint member to your membership free of charge. Additional family members can be added for �10 each. Joint and family members must live at the same address as the lead member and be over 18 years old.
If I become a member online, how quickly will I be able to book UK Club campsites?
If you are the full member you can amend your membership details under My Profile. You can also amend your membership details, including amending joint or family members, by using Webchat or phoning our membership services line.
