My family and I went to visit for the first time and were blown away. We were not expecting it to be as grand as it was. There is a Farris Wheel in the center, food court and many, many options. They covered all sports as well as hunting, camping and hiking gear. This place was amazing. They even have a giant fish tank with all kinds of beautiful fish. I highly recommend taking your family for a weekend trip. Thank you.

Made a $450 purchase in cash. After waiting in a whole line, check out person says “oh I can’t take cash but just take this reciept and go get in another line to check out and they’ll scan it🤪”. 1) there should be a “no cash” label at said registers and 2) better customer service thing to do would have been to walk me over to cut the line in another register because why do I now have to wait in a long line TWICE?? So dumb. Hope this helps

Never been watched this close in my damn life!!! Yeah-I see you all watching me from the moment I walked in until I checked out. I was followed and watched closely by at least 3 employees and even made eye contact with one of the employees who thought I walked away and saw her look back and was already on the phone speaking to someone. You are not so slick 😂 Been in retail and worked in LP for years. I bet I fit the “profile” This is why I choose to shop online-shopping as a poc, especially in Utah is so humiliating sometimes and for no reason except for the obvious 😑 Do better!!

I was impressed by the excellent customer service in both the men’s and women’s department! Jade, Andrew, and Mindy provided guidance, knowledge and kind helpfulness that you just don’t find very often in retail stores anymore. On top of that, the selection of quality clothes is amazing! I used to shop at one the first Scheels in MN back in 1979! My first pair of red stripe Nikes! So glad to have a store in Utah!

We go to Scheel's a few times per month. This latest trip we stopped to grab lunch. Our experience was unfortunately not reflective of the rest of the store. At prime lunch time, there was a single worker. She was working on a pizza. There was a small group of people waiting to order ahead of us. I can't say how long they had been waiting, but we stood there for at least 10 minutes, watching a few other employees enter behind the counter, disappear, and another employee be asked if she needed anything, while we all waited right in front of the sign that says "Order Here" Finally, another employee surfaced and instead of engaging the group of people standing and waiting, he leaned against the counter and relaxed. It wasn't until I spoke up and asked the group if they were ordering that the employee decided to ask if we wanted to order food. The other group obliged and let us order ahead of them. After waiting 15 minutes to place the order, we waited an additional 40 minutes for a single sandwich to be made. Meanwhile, in those 40 minutes we got to witness several things occur: several orders after ours be filled and given to patrons, two families leave because no employee would even acknowledge their presence, and what appeared to be our sandwich be thrown away, I can only assume due to being deemed too hard to transfer to the paper holder, and then remade. All the while there was little to no sense of urgency, as the employees casually put orders together. I believe there is significant basic training needed: 1. Basic awareness - see when there are people standing around the counter 2. Basic intros - "Have you been helped?" "Are you ready to order?" "We'll get that to you right away" will go a long way to prevent people from walking out 3. If a sandwich looks messy, do you really want to throw it away? Maybe consider throwing a bag of chips in for it not being "up to standard" Some other things we have noticed that make the food area dysfunctional 1. The "Order Here" sign is located in between the two POS systems. Routinely employees appear to be confused why people gather in that area. Reduce confusion by fixing that sign 2. Make both POS systems capable of taking the orders (one appears to be for things on the left and the other the right). Given the sign, it apparently confuses both customer and employee The girl cleaning the area was doing a great job. All the tables and surrounding floor was immaculate. My hope is management will see this and fix the issues in the food court.
