I found a hoodie I liked that was marked $10 but it had discoloration and missing drawstrings. So I asked an associate at the front (she was super kind) If they would be able to lower it for me since it is damaged. She called a manager to the front (she had glasses and was older) and she looked at me DISGUSTED when I asked and was incredibly rude. let me remind you guys that you get this stuff for FREE. The greed is insane. Maybe consider donating your items to people that won’t rack up the price.

Deseret Industries is my favorite store by far. I have scored so many awesome finds here. I'm always getting complimented on my clothes, and I shop at the D.I. almost exclusively. There are countless times when I have found designer clothing with the original tags still attached. Why would anyone pay more? Their book collection is great too. I've found so many cool, out-of-print books at the D.I. They've got fun knick-knacks, picture frames, appliances, shoes, games and puzzles, bikes, furniture, sporting gear, purses, home and holiday decor, stuffed animals, vases, business and casual clothing in all sizes, costumes, faux plants, and so, so much more! They've got it all. I love finding treasures at the D.I. My mom and I go every week without fail! I feel like they should have a life-size mural of us on their wall greeting people as they come in. 😄

This place is absolutely terrific. Lots of activity, easy parking love to drop off. Lots of things from my home that they can utilize around the world for people. When I have no further use for them... What are the most powerful worldwide organizations that I have? Been contributing to envisiting for over sixty years. Thanks for being there for millions of people. What an incredible idea.

I always find great things here!!! On my most recent visit, there was a bit of a line, but an employee, Tom came up to help and had everybody worked through very quickly! Not only that, his customer service was exceptional. My card initially declined and he handled it with grace and warmth.

Prices are a bit out of hand. Everyone picked up or felt a blanket that was nice but priced at $60!! Yes it’s a nice blanket but it was also donated for free to the DI for people to be able to buy things at an affordable price. Do better, price things accordingly to category per-normal and not sticker shock the whole store.
