Had an issue/altercation today with Miguel the manager over in collectibles around 11 AM. There was a tortilla maker that had two price tax, one for $20 and one for $10, Mind you it’s in a locked case so I have no control over placing those tags myself. I told an employee that I would like to get a sold ticket for the item, but I would like them to honor the lower price being as that’s what they are advertising, even if there was a higher priced tag on it. I waited Several minutes while these two employees went back-and-forth on what price they should give me to a point that they went and got a manager at my request. Miguel came up and without even giving me a chance to speak, told me that was gonna be the $20 price tag and not the lower one. I stated that I felt that that was kind of unprofessional and rude, and also that it would be fair for them to honor the price that they had it advertised, even if it was an employee’s error in the back. He said he didn’t care and that it was an employee error and they’re not going to charge me the lesser price. I ended up leaving and putting away all my merchandise. I’m tired of you guys trying to scalp donated items to get maximum profit and when your employees make a mistake and you falsely advertise a price, you don’t honor it. Can’t believe this place has ran by the church yet has terrible standards for customer service and management. Don’t even get me started on the fact that all of their items have lately been priced based on eBay sold listings. I spoke to other managers upfront about it and was literally brushed off because he had someone talking to him on the walkie-talkie and he said he had to go handle something else. Terrible experience and I will make sure to leave poor reviews on every single desert industries, unless this is handled.

This location is okay. After the recent update, not much is really different but that's only because of the surrounding area affects the quality of donations. I do think their layout is better for the mass amount of furniture that comes through. Their toys are the worst though. Books are complete roll of the dice. Clothes are usually outdated and not great quality due to the economic variety of the area. Santaquin is the best location
