I have been purchasing Oakley sunglasses and ski goggles for the past 15 years at the Oakley Vault in Park City, Utah. That particular store is not listed on the Better Business Bureau website. If I could give Oakley Vault zero stars, I would. I am writing to give all Oakley Vault customers a sincere warning. I have noticed a steep decline in the quality of the sunglasses that I have purchased over the past couple of years. Specifically, whatever coating they put on the inside of the glasses is cracking, peeling, and delaminating. Oakley is supposed to warranty their sunglasses for a two year period so I filed a claim. I sent Oakley all the documentation that they required, including photographs of the damaged sunglasses and proofs of purchase. All I received back from this company over a period of about 10 days was a series of three form letters, all of which were essentially the same. This company has no intention whatsoever of honoring my warranty claim. I advise all consumers who purchase Oakley sunglasses to do so at their own risk. This is a classic case of caveat emptor. (Let the buyer beware.) My advice. STAY AWAY!

I am extremely unhappy with your customer service and I will be telling everyone I know to not buy from your park city store, felt like we dealt with snake oil salesman with your company not being able to exchange a gift I got for a different color. Shame on you guys

Do NOT buy from here!! They do not stand by their products! And they don’t let you return! My wife bought me the meta glasses for Father’s Day. She didn’t know what color to get me. The salesman told her just to buy it and I have 30 days to try it out and you can exchange it. A week later I had tried them out and immediately went back to get a one with transition lens instead and was willing to just keep the existing frames but they said it looks like it’s been worn so I can’t do any exchanges. There was nothing wrong with them. So what is the point of the 30 day return policy. He said once you break the seal on the box it’s now used and it has to be in brand new unused condition to exchange or return it. So don’t buy a gift for someone thinking you can exchange it if they don’t like it.
