Opened in 1986, the Sportsman’s Warehouse in Midvale, UT is our first location. National gunsmithing services are now available. We now buy & sell used guns! If you like Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, pronghorn antelope, or waterfowl hunting, we’re here to get you all set up with ammo and everything you need. If fishing is more your speed, we have all of your tackle to catch the bass (largemouth and smallmouth) or trout (rainbow, cutthroat, brown, brook, lake) that you’re after, and we can point you toward the hotspots. We also carry plenty of supplies for hiking, camping, boating, and kayaking. Our shop services are available to spool reels, mount, and boresight rifle scopes, cut arrows, tune bows in our 6-yard archery lane, and anything covered by your Firearm Service Plan. Whether it’s a cold, snowy winter or 110-degree summer day, we’ve got the seasonal accessories to fit your outdoor adventure. While you’re in the area, be sure to check out local attractions like the numerous world-class ski resorts, National Monuments, and 1.1 million acres of Wilderness Area.

- BWBraden Wegesser3 days ago1.0I showed up today with a laundry list of stuff to buy for a trip to the Amazon next month. Nobody helped me and I eventually walked out. The exact same thing happened to my sister in Denver when she tried Sportsman's Warehouse. I went to Fish Tech Outfitters instead and the customer service was phenomenal. Highly recommend FTO!

I give sportsman’s anther try today to see if they have improved on their service. But things have not change since I was in last year when I needed help finding items to buy.

The only employees who were genuinely kind and helpful were the cashier and the gentleman in the knife section. One of the employees walking around the store was extremely rude. My husband politely asked him if he worked there and if he knew anything about a portable table we were looking at. Instead of simply answering or helping us, he immediately pointed to and showed us his employee badge, as if we were questioning whether he actually worked there. The way he did it was incredibly rude and condescending. We were simply asking for assistance as customers. Then, when we went to pay, I was purchasing a fishing license. The employee helping us literally threw the license cover toward me. I had to tell him that you simply do not throw things at customers. Even the very kind female employee standing there told him not to throw things at customers. What made the situation even worse was that he NEVER apologized. Instead, he tried to act like he knew my husband and implied that was somehow the reason I was upset, rather than simply taking responsibility for his behavior. There is absolutely no excuse for treating customers this way. We were polite the entire time and only asked for basic assistance. The attitude and lack of professionalism from this employee were unacceptable. The two employees who were kind to us were the only positive part of this experience. Management seriously needs to address how customers are being treated. I would give zero stars if I could.
