Opened in 1986, the Sportsman’s Warehouse in Midvale, UT is our first location. National gunsmithing services are now available. We now buy & sell used guns! If you like Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, pronghorn antelope, or waterfowl hunting, we’re here to get you all set up with ammo and everything you need. If fishing is more your speed, we have all of your tackle to catch the bass (largemouth and smallmouth) or trout (rainbow, cutthroat, brown, brook, lake) that you’re after, and we can point you toward the hotspots. We also carry plenty of supplies for hiking, camping, boating, and kayaking. Our shop services are available to spool reels, mount, and boresight rifle scopes, cut arrows, tune bows in our 6-yard archery lane, and anything covered by your Firearm Service Plan. Whether it’s a cold, snowy winter or 110-degree summer day, we’ve got the seasonal accessories to fit your outdoor adventure. While you’re in the area, be sure to check out local attractions like the numerous world-class ski resorts, National Monuments, and 1.1 million acres of Wilderness Area.

- ABAlicia Bravo6 days ago5.0We visited this outdoor equipment store before a camping trip and ended up having one of the most helpful retail experiences we’ve had in a long time. The staff asked practical questions about the type of trip we were planning and recommended gear based on actual needs instead of simply steering us toward the most expensive products. The selection of tents, coolers, hiking gear, and cooking equipment was impressive without feeling cluttered. Compared to shopping online where it’s difficult to judge quality accurately, being able to test and compare items in person made a huge difference for us.

The front desk can't answer questions they send me to the gun counter they can't answer questions. They don't answer their phones. To sum it up not professional. I'd recommend going somewhere that can problem solve and you can make a purchase. They make it to difficult with people that aren't competent.

My son is new to fishing and Toad and Martin were beyond helpful teaching him what to get started with, how to bait his hook, how to keep his own scent from scaring the fish away, and on and on. He's all set up to start bass fishing this season. And then the cashier was just as jovial and wished him good luck. I will definitely drive all the way from Lehi to Midvale just for the staff. Take notes Saratoga Springs!!
- BGBrandon GoodsellApr 27, 20263.0DO NOT ORDER AND PAY ONLINE! I could have walked in, ran my background, and picked up my firearm in an hours time. Instead, I, foolishly, thought that that paying ahead online would speed up the process. I ordered at 11:00am. It is now 45 minutes to closing. The website said that the firearm was in stock and the estimated pick up was for today. Didn't happen. I even went in and was told that since I ordered and paid online that there was nothing that they could do. I called the 1-800 number and they were useless. I tried to call the store directly and nobody picked up the phone. This may be the last time that I ever buy a firearm from this place. What a joke. Update: got an email stating that my purchase was ready for pickup 17 minutes before the store closed. I can't even make it down there in 17 minutes, let alone complete the background check. Thanks for nothing. Update 2: went and picked up my purchase and was in and out in 45 minutes.
