  I was very thankful that I only had to wait a few minutes at the cash register before someone noticed I was standing there and he was able to check me out. It was a great experience. Everyone was helpful and showed me right where to look.

  If you’re looking to purchase an item that you have to order or do any additional paperwork to receive, go somewhere else! Mike the store assistant manager second-in-command according to him has given me probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced! It does not end with him, his attitude towards customers and lack of professionalism, has clearly trickled down to the rest of the store employees! don’t believe me… go shop there, you’ll see. I purchased an item that wouldn’t be in stock for 7 to 10 days. On the 10th day I received an email stating that it was in stock! I took my receipt and went to Sportsman’s, I was told a manager had to look it up in the computer and I could not have it that day because there was not an available manager to find the item! I called the next morning and spoke with Mike the assistant manager of the Midvale, Sportsman’s, he was extremely unprofessional, talked at me and over me refused to listen to anything I had to say, in short told me don’t call them back. They will call me when their system shows it is in stock! For an individual to be in a position of assistant store manager the second in command according to Mike… The customer service skills of that individual belong in a back room, stocking shelves, not as the representation of a store that services the sporting community! I will eventually get the item I have already prepaid for, and I assure that I will never shop at Sportsman’s again after this experience!

  Sportsman’s warehouse is usually a great place to buy guns but the last two times I’ve been there to buy a gun we were helped by an older guy and both times he told me that the gun I was buying was a piece of crap and that I should buy a much more expensive gun. I did my research on the guns beforehand and they were good guns. So unless you want to have someone try and upsell you then I would shop at a different sportsman’s
