    My fiancé bought the wedding band and engagement ring at the same time. Right before our wedding, we wanted to return the wedding band, which had remained in the original box for 8 months. Shane co. Would only give us a small trade in value, not return amount. We were buying more jewelry, but they still wouldn't give us the value of the return. Terrible service. It's hard to be polite when feeling taken advantage of. Every time I see my ring, it will be tainted with terrible return service of the band I didn't get. They are going to resell it for more then they did last fall. The place may sparkle, but the memory built here does not.

    Allyssa is an absolutely amazing human being. My fiancé and I came in insanely last minute, 30 minutes before they closed for our wedding rings. We needed the rings as soon as possible because we left the next day. She made us feel so welcome, listened to and made sure I was 100% happy with my choice. She gave phenomenal choices for me to try on for the base ring. We found the perfect one! Not only that but she worked magic to find the perfect diamond at the price we were shooting for. The price range we gave she got us the perfect rings for under that budget. She worked magic once again to make sure I got the ring before we left!! It was so last minute and she pretty much saved our elopement with all the quick work she did to make sure it was perfect. We will forever remember that experience and I am so beyond grateful she was the one to help us and made it so special. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ALLYSSA!! You are one in a million!

    Bought my girlfriend a tahitian pearl bracelet for Valentine's Day from Shane Co. The first time she wore it there was a problem with the clasp. They exchanged it immediately. This was great and expected. She then wore the replacement a few weeks later, and the very 1st time she wore it the knots on the string started to come undone. We went back to Shane and showed them. Clearly this was not a great product. We showed the associates and they were initially understanding. Then a "manager" came and asked about the bracelet. We told them the story and the manager extremely rudely stated "it looks like it's been worn for 52 days." This was 40 days after Valentine's Day and a bracelet that had been worn 1 time. The issue is this employee's rudeness and complete nonsensical statement. Even if the bracelet had been worn for 52 days, it wasn't, are they trying to say their bracelets won't last that long? So not only were they rude and condescending, they also made themselves look bad. They eventually did allow the return. We ended up spending almost twice what the bracelet cost on a new item. So we clearly were good customers and willing to support their business. It's not a good look to have a fine jewelry gift break on the 1st wear, doubly so to have it break again, on the replacement, the 1st time that it's worn. Fortunately my dear and sweet girlfriend completely understood and was satisfied with the resolution. I however am not. Shane Co is supposed to be above entry level jewelry. This particular product was not. The complete lack of professionalism, respect , and service that was demonstrated by this manager will probably prevent me from shopping there ever again. It's just not worth it to be treated rudely and have to deal with an unprofessional employee.
