Open since 2013, Sportsman’s Warehouse in Logan, UT is near the Idaho border, Bear Lake, Cache Valley National Forest, and Hardware Ranch. National gunsmithing services are now available! Our shop services are available to spool reels, mount and boresight rifle scopes, cut arrows, tune bows in our 10-yard archery lane, and anything covered by your Firearm Service Plan. Whether it’s a cold, snowy winter or hot summer day, we’ve got the seasonal accessories to fit your outdoor adventure. - HLHannah Mitchell (The Lady)Jun 24, 20261.0If your 2nd Amendment right to open-carry was a cockroach, Sportsman's Warehouse would stomp on it with a steel-toed work boot. My family and I have purchased guns here for 20 years but that came to a screeching halt today. I walked in the store to purchase a $1,500 handgun that I have wanted for a while, and was screamed at the moment I walked through their front doors. The cashier yelled at me, in front of other customers waiting to check out, and told me to come "check-in" my handgun. My handgun was on my belt and secured in a holster on my person. I asked her why she was harassing me about my gun and she told me that there was a sign on the front doors about their firearm policy, and it was posted a "long time ago." I told her that I have shopped there with my pistol hundreds of times in the recent past, and never had anyone bug me like this. She still demanded that I "check-in" my pistol. I told her no and walked out. I read their firearm policy after this happened and it says nothing about "checking-in" holstered firearms. Under no circumstances should anyone have to "check-in" a handgun that's secured in a holster on their person. After 250 years of American independence, the right to bear arms openly and freely is almost dead, and people like that are killing it.

I continued to ask why it was a different price, and instead of explaining or helping me, he would not explain and made comments that made me feel extremely stupid. Even my friend who heard the whole thing said he was very rude. Terrible customer service.

He went well above the extra mile and not only helped me sort out my purchase, but gave me a great deal on my purchases, and helped me with everything that needed done to assemble what I bought properly and did a great job as well. He was very polite, kind, and knowledgeable Because of him I will be returning again for sure. Its rare today to see someone with this kind of ethic. Thanks again for your help. Take care:)
