  Hi struggling mother here, I thought DI was literally made to help people in need and EVERYTHING IS DONATED which is why i donate to them….they do always have good stuff, staff not very friendly. I went and found a somewhat broken measuring board for kids to track their growth I brought it up to the front and asked if I could get a discount because it was listed for $15 the manager even seemed shocked by the price tag and said we don’t do discounts but when I showed it was $15 dollars for this broken piece of wood they said they could do $12 BUT “We still have to pay our staff” are we serious? This BILLION DOLLARS INDUSTRY and I know for a fact they do not use the money to pay their salaries. Like okay

  Going to start donating to a different store. Every time we've gone to drop our stuff off and the dock team lead is out, she always hits our car and laughs about it. Inside the store, the clothing selection is always good and is the reason for this being a 2 star rating instead of 1. I have young kids and the toys are usually broken and/or missing pieces so it's hard to find anything for them in decent condition. My kids and I can be standing in a spot and still get almost ran over by some of the staff there. Overall, not the worst DI I've been to but not great either.

  Standard thrift store, good selection, friendly workers. Such a service to our community, thet are helping people get rid of what they don't need, and others to find what they do, all while providing work opportunities for people who might not always get the chance.
