  I’ll be honest—I’ve shopped at this store many times and have always really enjoyed coming here. Over the years, I’ve spent thousands upon thousands of dollars here shopping for my family, and I’ve never felt the need to leave a review like this before. Today, however, I was genuinely shocked by what I saw. One of the cashiers, a woman with pink hair, was wearing pants sagging so low that her entire pelvic/hip area was exposed, along with an extremely tiny tank top that left very little covered. I was shopping with my granddaughter and my teenage son, and I found it incredibly inappropriate for a workplace. I understand that Vans has a young, stylish, individualistic image, and I have absolutely no issue with employees expressing themselves or dressing in current styles. But there still needs to be a reasonable standard for what is appropriate to wear while working and interacting with families and customers. It clearly wasn’t just me who noticed, either. While checking out, I watched several other customers reacting to how revealing the employee’s clothing was. It was uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. I really enjoy this store and have been a loyal customer, which is exactly why I’m disappointed enough to say something. Employees should absolutely be able to express their personal style, but there is a difference between fashionable and inappropriate for work. I hope management addresses this and establishes a reasonable dress standard for employees.

  I've been wearing Vans since before most of the employees working in the stores today were even born. I've supported this brand since I was a kid and still shop both online and in-store regularly, so this experience was especially disappointing. While on vacation in Utah, we stopped by the Vans Outlet in Lehi. Right away, one of the sales associates seemed annoyed that I was asking basic retail questions. He wasn't outright rude, but he definitely acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. The bigger issue came at checkout. The store had signs everywhere advertising a BOGO promotion on red-sticker items, and other employees confirmed the promotion. We found a couple of cardigans for our daughter and brought four items to the register. When the transaction rang up, one of the cardigans was clearly charged at full price. I politely asked about it, and instead of explaining it, the cashier became increasingly rude and dismissive. She repeatedly snapped, "It comes off multiple items," even though the discount obviously hadn't been applied to the cardigan. I even grabbed another cardigan with a tag to verify the pricing, but she continued speaking to me with an attitude instead of helping resolve the issue. What made the experience worse was that the manager witnessed the entire interaction and never stepped in to help, address the employee's behavior, or clarify the promotion. I've always had great experiences with Vans, which is why this visit stood out for all the wrong reasons. Customer service matters just as much as the products, and unfortunately this store fell well short of the standard I've come to expect from the Vans brand.
