  I wanted to leave a review specifically for Haley at the Sunglass Hut inside Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s in Farmington because she provided some of the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I own a pair of Oakley Holbrook XXL prescription glasses, and without them I am practically blind. Unfortunately, I broke one of the arms (templates) on the glasses and was extremely stressed knowing I would not be able to properly work or drive without them. Before coming to Haley, I visited the Sunglass Hut at Layton Hills Mall and also called the Sunglass Hut at Farmington Station. Unfortunately, neither location was able to help me. The employees seemed to have very little knowledge about the Oakley Holbrook line or how to replace the templates, despite Holbrook being one of Oakley’s most popular glasses. The experiences at those locations only added more stress to an already difficult situation. Then I spoke with Haley at the Sunglass Hut inside Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s in Farmington, and the experience was completely different. From the moment I explained the issue, she showed genuine concern, confidence, and extensive knowledge about the glasses. She immediately understood exactly what I needed, invited me to come in, and even had multiple Holbrook frames ready for me to choose from when I arrived. Haley was able to remove the templates from another pair and repair my prescription glasses on the spot, charging me only for the replacement parts instead of making me wait weeks for an order. She quite literally saved me from being without my glasses and made an incredibly stressful situation manageable. Employees like Haley are a huge asset to the company. Her professionalism, product knowledge, problem-solving ability, and willingness to genuinely help customers stood far above the experiences I had at the other locations. She absolutely deserves recognition for the outstanding job she is doing.

  I am a big sunglass fan and own several pairs, I have shopped at this store for sunglasses several times though out the last 3 years. In the last few months I have noticed a big decrease in customer service. The employees don't seem to care at all about what I'm asking for they just recommend what ever is popular then walk away. I was told they got a new manager early this year which would explain the difference in customer service. I will not be coming back and will take my business to a store that will actually help me instead of just walking away after they say hello.

  Gavin the new manager is amazing!! I personally have a background in optics and so my expectations are set considerably high. His product knowledge and professionalism is amazing! He knows how to fit a frame to the face and will tell you anything and everything you need to know about the lenses! Very easy going and a delight to talk to!
