I love checking out new thrift stores when I’m on vacation to see what other areas have to offer. This one did not disappoint. The store was super clean and well organized. There was also an overall very nice selection of clothing. I had a great time going through all the racks finding me a handful of items to take home. The lady who checked us out was super friendly and gave us some recommendations of places to visit while we were in the area. I would absolutely go to one of these stores if I were in the area again.

I do really like coming here and have for years but recently it seems that they think they are the Nordstrom of thrift stores. Their prices on many things are completely overblown. Today when I visited I spotted a pair of Kirkland brand jeans. That is the bottom brand at Costco. They were marked at $6 and they had a snag through the elastic in the leg. I think maybe they need to reevaluate their pricing? We're in a weird economy right now and a lot of people shop here because they must and they would like to look sharp for an interview or buy things that they need for their home. Otherwise the store seems to be very neat and tidy every time I come in and I have always been impressed with the service.

Be careful at checkout. I have been charged three times for the same item and didn’t realize it until after I got home.

EDIT: Unfortunately I have to edit my review from 4 to 2. A couple of weeks ago there was an incident in the store. When I went in later that day my fiance asked the employee about it. He ignored us and that was that. I went in today and he said he doesn’t want to help me because of that last interaction. It seems like DI supports ppl who support the harm this man was trying to do. The manager was very kind and accommodating, but this employee has been rude on every occasion I have ever been. Which is why I didn’t give them 5 stars in the first place. I usually just go to someone else. Most of them are such great people. I just hope that just because it’s a work program they don’t let these people treat us however they want.
I really like coming here. Overall 95% of the employees are the best retail workers here in Cedar. Although the 5% other ppl have commented on in other reviews are right about workers gossiping it seems. I have heard things that I realized later were workers and was shocked. However, they always organizing and keeping it clean. Yes it’s piles of everything. But you know what to expect and where to find things. Some things are overpriced, but overall I think 70% of it is fair

Way to high priced for things that get donated to them, with some items not much(if anything)below retail even in poor condition. As far as clothes go, you can buy brand new from Ross for the same price as they charge here. It is alright though if your looking for cheap couches.
