  Talk about trying to be positive. Walk in and ask about selling my stuff am told to come back another day that they have cut it off for the day. Then see two others take in stuff after I leave the store and they take it in.

  Rude staff as soon as you walk in. When you look it up, it says you can bring clothes in reusable bags. When I walked in the older lady couldn’t have been more bothered with a rude attitude and just saying it needs a bin with a lid. Which is fine, but attitude matters. Not going back. Danbury Plato’s is way better and nicer.

  I had so many shoes never worn before, all high heels I was going to take them all each day til all my items are gone. They did not take one pair saying they are not formal enough, in other words they are not taking high heels with out saying it. Today I took clothes because I needed to get rid of them they took 14 items for 65.00..saying the rest was out dated they don't take skinny jeans which were not skinny only at ankle, I had several purses, 2 had like dye stain from being in closet so long next to one another. I am like most of store is out dated with items. As for my heels they also stated the have an overstock so they definitely not taking them..If anyone knows how I can get rid of my items for cash, please reach out

  Extremely disappointed with my latest experience at Plato’s closet. They need to reevaluate their system in purchasing back clothes. I had a number of items that only wore a few times that did not get any recognition for buyback with no damages. I also had items with tags and never warn not accepted. Also the manager there definitely is not the friendliest. The danbury store is a far better store

  I almost didn't come here because of the bad reviews but they are nonsense. This store is a great little resale store and I bought a number of basics. I used to live in NYC and this reminds me of Crossroads and Buffalo Exchange, with slightly less fancy brands but you can still find cute stuff here nonetheless. People rate this store poorly because they are mad about the store's buying decisions but it isn't fair to give them a bad review. As a shopper, I was happy and I will be back!
