  I had an amazing experience working with WenYan. I was looking for a very special Rolex for my wife to celebrate one year since she gave birth to our child, and WenYan truly went above and beyond to make it happen.   I reached out to Peter Young at Watches of Switzerland Hudson Yards in January 2025, on a coworker’s recommendation, hoping to purchase a basic Lady-Datejust 28 and a Datejust 41. Peter, was pleasant initially and explained both models were in high demand and might take time. We agreed he’d follow up with alternatives in the meantime. Almost two years later, I still haven’t received any alternative suggestion. I sent several follow-ups and more than half went unanswered/ignored. Eventually I realize I am not willing to chase the ghost and we asked to be removed from whatever waitlist we may have been on. Although I’m honestly not sure we were ever on one to begin with. I also mentioned a special request tied to a 35th birthday, hoping to make the occasion meaningful. That too was met with vague promises and no follow-up. None of my friends and colleagues have had similar issues at other boutiques. So we took it a sign that they don’t want our business.Very disappointing!
