  I would like to express my sincere appreciation to George and Marisa at Max Mara on Madison Avenue in New York City for their exceptional service and expertise. I had two cashmere coats that needed alterations, and initially, I was quite concerned that improper alterations might affect the original shape, fit, and elegance of the coats. I wasn’t sure what could be done or whom I could trust with such delicate pieces. George was incredibly kind and patient. He took the time to listen to my concerns, carefully explain the possible solutions, and arranged for Marisa, who has extensive expertise in altering cashmere coats, to assist me. Together, they carefully discussed the result I was hoping to achieve, offered thoughtful professional advice, and made sure every detail was addressed before proceeding. My coats were mailed back to me today, and I could not be happier with the result. They fit me perfectly while still maintaining their beautiful original shape and style. Thank you, George and Marisa, for your professionalism, patience, attention to detail, and wonderful craftsmanship. Because of your help, I can truly enjoy wearing my cashmere coats again this winter. I am extremely grateful and highly recommend the team at Max Mara Madison Avenue.
