  Nadia is an absolute gem. Back in February, she helped my mom find the most beautiful Max Mara pantsuit, but what she really gave her was her confidence back. My mom wasn’t having the best day, and Nadia’s warmth, patience, and impeccable eye for style completely turned it around. My mom is a true fashion lover with very high standards, so it’s incredibly rare for her to fully trust someone’s fashion advice. Nadia exceeded every expectation. She has exceptional taste, listens, never rushes you, and genuinely cares. To this day, my mom refuses to shop at Max Mara without Nadia’s advice. Even when she’s buying Max Mara in another country, she still reaches out to Nadia to ask for her opinion. That level of trust says it all. Thank you, Nadia. You’ve gained customers for life.

  Shout out to Nadia for her incredible service and patience the moment when my girlies and I stepped in to the store. A pair of sneakers caught my attention while my friend was eyeing some summer jackets. Nadia made sure our needs for trying on were met. She helped me order the right size for my shoes. I lost her number during traveling, but I would love to show my appreciation for her hospitality and would definitely come back ◡̈

  Terrible sales. Directly asking us if we are trying for purchase and or just for size, and being super mean when we’re trying the coats. Bruh how rude. Would never purchase anything from them.

  I'd like to thank Nadia De Marco for her professional help in finding the right coat size. I had ordered a size that was too small, and as soon as I tried it on, she immediately noticed that I needed a much larger size. She carefully looked at how the smaller coat fit, explained how the correct size should feel, and together we selected a coat that fits me perfectly. I was really impressed by her genuine care and interest in making sure I left happy, with a beautiful coat in the right size.

  As someone who has loved this brand for more than 15 years and owns countless pieces from Max Mara, for some reason I always get disappointed at the SoHo store. The sales people here are pushy to make you buy things, yet become really unhelpful when you have issues with the clothings you bought. I once got a $900 trousers that had colours fading when I washed it (this only happened a week after I bought it), and when I texted the salesperson who helped me with the purchase, she basically said she doesn’t know what to do and Max Mara won’t be able to help. When I visited the store explaining the situation, I even had a salesperson recommend me buying another pair… like your luxurious clothings are for single-use only? What a joke. Another time when I visited the store hoping to find a cashmere coat but didn’t end up seeing anything I love, the sales person kept pushing me to buy things even when I already expressed that I didn’t like the style she recommended. And you can tell how her attitude changed so drastically after I said I’d want to consider other brands as none of the ones she showed me were a perfect fit. Btw they also charge quite a lot for tailoring ($70 to add a simple button, you can’t even customise as they only offer one option) and shipping ($30), when other brands like Acne and Hermes would do it for free. I understand that not all brands offer complimentary tailoring and shipping, but this is just another detail that makes the customer service below expectation, especially after I just spent thousands of dollars. When I asked for a photo to see how the button would look like on my coat, the sales person simply googled an image and said “it’s gonna be something like this”. Very condescending attitude. I’ve had better experience at other locations. It’s a shame how the SoHo store has such a poor customer service.
