Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.

- SSStana3 days ago1.0Talk about throwing money out of the window: Lululemon has wasted God knows how many thousands of dollars on an interior renovation that gives one claustrophobia more than a Soviet elevator with flickering fluorescent lights, peeling metal walls stained by decades of use, and a rattling accordion gate that must be wrestled shut before the machine grudgingly lurches into motion. Actually claustrophobia is not even the only phobia you get from this place. Ever hear of trypophobia? No? Well just have a look up at the ceiling. That ought to do it. Entering that labyrinth of a store, where the walls and ceiling look like they are about to compress you simultaneously in both dimensions, hearing Olivia Rodrigo, seeing no connection to the outside, was really one of the most overwhelming experiences I have had in SoHo. Even standing beside a hot dog truck on Broadway and inhaling all the fumes would have been a more delightful way to spend a couple of minutes.
