  Walking on Crosby Street is in itself a treat well before you get to the store. This runway of low-rise red brick tenement buildings on either side, dappled in shafts of sunlight, are a head-turner. I almost abandoned the destination to spend more time looking at the low rises, leering at their looks, its wear, makeup, and hair. The store itself is two-tiered, with women’s clothes deservedly occupying the center of gravity on street level. Men are shunted to the basement, as they should be. I did not find what I was looking for—a denim shirt, chinos, and a rugby—but Patrick, their helpful salesperson, located them at another store and helped reserve them; perhaps he can be promoted from the store’s dungeon to sunnier upstairs. Walking back out onto the street, I found some ingenious advertisement posters; I notice well-dressed men and women walking past me, carrying themselves with such élan that you wouldn’t know we are at war with another nation which we can’t locate.   Austin S at this location was so helpful! Took the time to help me find an outfit that I felt good in for my journey. One thing about me, I want to look cute but still be comfortable and Austin helped me achieve that #goal!

  I didn’t know they closed at 7:00. When I arrived, the staff were still inside, and I tried to signal to them because I needed help, but they just looked at me without responding. This happened at the Prince Street location. I then called the branch’s internal number, and a young woman with black hair answered, who immediately let me in. I think she may have been a supervisor, and she was truly exceptional. I explained that I had come from far away and only needed to return a few items. She didn’t hesitate for a second — she welcomed me in and helped me right away. I am genuinely grateful for her kindness. It means so much to meet an employee who sincerely cares. Please take good care of her; she represents your company beautifully. Thank you.
