  Been to this store 2-3 times and each time I got great service! The staffs were just so friendly and helpful and you can tell they know their products. Especially this afternoon I came into the store after being ignored more than 10mins in another famous durable boots brand store in soho:) Dr martens soho healed my broken heart.

  Ambled in off the street without a real plan and my daughter ended up buying herself a cool pair of Docs. Caroline at the store was absolutely delightful and made us feel at home as she patiently lugged multiple sizes and models back and forth till we finally were happy. She also was full of knowledge about the shoes and truly made us feel we bought more than just shoes. Hat tip to the two other people in the store who all seemed to be wearing this great vibe in their sleeve! This is how shopping should feel!

  Negative experience at the SoHo|NYC store. I think the staff made a serious mistake by giving me the wrong size boot after I had tried them on and confirmed the correct size in-store. I left the box there to save space, and now no other store will allow me to exchange the item (which is new and unworn) because I don't have the original box. There was a lack of support and common sense in resolving an issue caused by a packing error on the part of the Dr. Martens team. Unfortunately, it has now been a month since the exchange period began, and I have had no success at any of the physical stores I visited. I also received poor service when I called the SoHo store, and both the online support and the website have let me down. This has been a terrible experience for someone who has always loved this brand, but I will no longer be wearing it.
