  I went in the store excited to pick a new chanel perfume. I took out my camera to make a video for my cousin to show my cousin how she inspired me to buy a new Chanel perfume. As soon as I took my phone a store worker yelled from across the store “Oh we don’t actually allow filming in the store.” I wonder if I was a big influencer would he not want me to film. Needless to say I was embarrassed and left without my Chanel perfume. I also wonder if he treated me so rude because of my skin color?!! No Chanel for me!!!!

  I visited this Chanel boutique ready to purchase a bag worth around $7,000. Unfortunately, my experience with SA Jennie was extremely disappointing. Throughout my visit, Jennie avoided eye contact, offered no guidance while I was comparing different bags, and made no effort to answer questions or help me make such an important purchase. As someone investing in a luxury item, I expected thoughtful service and professional advice, but instead I felt like I was inconveniencing her. When I said I wanted to think about it, she simply replied, "OK," without even looking at me, and immediately took the bag away. That interaction made it clear that she had no interest in building a relationship or providing the level of service expected from a luxury brand. I ended up visiting the Fifth Avenue Chanel boutique the same day, where I received exceptional service from another SA and happily purchased the bag there. Luxury is not only about the product—it's about the experience. Chanel bags are beautiful, but service like this falls far below the standard I expect from the brand. I hope management takes this feedback seriously.
