  One of the most beautiful stores in the city! The ENTIRE staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You don’t need to wait outside if you take some time and plan your day by making an appointment online, not sure why so many people complain about waiting outside, anyone can make an appointment.

  Spent the weekend in NYC. One of my goals was to go to Chanel. Apparently I picked the wrong Chanel store. The young lady that greeted us at the door was friendly but over 94% was not. It doesn’t take an assigned advisor to answer one simple question. Any advisor should have had enough professionalism and courtesy to help a potential customer rather than standing around not doing anything. So I left the store with no purchase. I bought my Chanel sunglasses from Nordstrom and my Chanel bag from Bergdorf.

  Refused entry ten minutes before closing while collecting a handbag that was already repaired and ready for pickup. I traveled from Puerto Rico and came to this boutique specifically. I arrived Friday 9/11 evening at 6:50 pm, before the posted 7 pm closing time. The manager on duty refused to let us into the store, stating they were at capacity and closed for business. We were not offered the foyer. We were told to wait on the sidewalk, and the bag was brought out to us there. Both of us were carrying Chanel handbags and were collecting a third. The security guard apologized for leaving us waiting outside and said he did not understand why we were not allowed in. It was still business hours, and the pickup would have taken two minutes. Being turned away at the door and handled on the sidewalk is not the experience this brand sells. I had been planning to purchase another bag. After this, I am reconsidering that entirely, and certainly not at this location.
