I already posted my comment, but couldn’t see it online yet, so posting it again, I was sitting in one corner of the stairs. Because it is blazing hot outside and I was exhausted and my family wasn’t done shopping yet. This guys comes and asks me to get up as it was a hazard. The stairs are extremely wide and every shopper was so nice. Just not the staff. He is like - If you are tired, I could get you a chair and I said sure thanks but then he is like but I don’t have to. And he is like I am probably older than you. Unlike them, who sit in air conditioned stores have no empathy for clients/customers. I read 10s of review talking about profiling here. And now I know what they mean. I would still want people to go here just for the supplies because for art lovers, it is heaven. My kids loved the store. But NY, with your diversity, I would have expected better staff. Spent over 100USD anyway. But horrible experience.
