  This used to be my favorite American Eagle location when it was across the street from Target. I used to shop there WEEKLY because the staff was always so helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Unfortunately, the new location has been a completely different experience. There is a serious lack of customer service, and items are often unavailable in-store even when the app shows they’re available. The only exception is one gentleman who is always by the register I’d give him 10 stars! He is always helpful and provides excellent customer service. I went from shopping in-store weekly to preferring to shop online. Really disappointing because American Eagle used to be one of my favorite stores.

  This store needs to stop hiring teenagers who don’t know how to communicate and who stare at customers like their brains are glitching anytime they get asked a question.

  This review is for a worker named Anna/Annie, she is the sweetest person on the floor that took the time to help me find what I was looking for. I felt the need to leave a review so she gets recognized for her welcoming support even at a busy day. It seems like the rest of the staff are a bit on edge and are not as helpful, some of them aren't even approachable and just walk away from any interactions from me.

  I've always been reluctant to go shop at my teenage daughter's favorite clothing stores, especially in crowded Soho, BUT I was pleasantly surprised when she dragged me into American Eagle and Aerie! We were greeted at the door by a smiling staff member, the music volume level was low and the clothing is beautifully merchandised. The entire staff is friendly (no attitudes) and helpful and never makes you feel pressured to buy. The fitting rooms are spacious and clean and there's never a long wait at the registers- as the rest of the Soho stores. Additionally, by chance, we met one of the managers, Andres and she was so knowledgable of product, made suggestions for unavailable sizes by having them shipped directly to us at no extra charge and by observing how she interacted with her team- she's a true professional and great leader. I have returned several times for both my daughter and now for MYSELF as the designs/clothing are timeless and not targeted to a specific age group. I LOVE shopping at Aerie and have sent several new customers who feel the same. Thank you Aerie for making my shopping experiences stress-free, enjoyable and memorable!
