  Jordan/Jordyn (not sure which way she spells it) at Aerie was the BEST. She is so kind, patient and attentive with every customer who walks through the door.

  This is for the Aerie store — Unneeded in store return issues just due to laziness honestly. I made the effort to print out a return slip ahead of time with all the needed account and order information and barcodes for the return and handed it to the employee and it was completely disregarded and they proceeded to ask me for the info that was clearly on the return slip. Then when they started the return they called out that three of the four items were for American Eagle and that I can go to the AE store a few stores down to return those and handed them back to me. I then grabbed the return slip they tossed to the side and said that it clearly states that I can return all items to an Aeries or American Eagle store, I don’t need to go to both separately, they then cut me off mid sentence and stated “yes but an American Eagle store is just a few stores down so you can go there instead for those items” —literally why? when it’s allowed ?? like it made no sense and this was a very small return order of 4 items and no one else was in the store or on the line behind….literally a ghost town. So I just move on and then they proceed to re-ask me for all my info again so I handed the return slip they were avoiding to re-get this info since we are in need to keep redoing this part but can’t find the item to just return all the items in the order to one of the stores which this brand clearly advertise as a way to make this process simple? make it make sense. I then went to the American Eagle store to return the three shirts the Aerie employee was avoiding like the plague and it turns out whatever information they spent forever entering never actually saved or loaded because then I was asked to give all my info again…the American Eagle employee also ignoring the pre printed return slip…. like what’s the purpose of doing that step online ahead of time if they don’t even bother with it???? I’ve made a formal complaint but wanted to share here too because definitely do not listen to them when they say they can’t take all items back at one store and make you go “just a few stores down” when it’s promoted by their company to do the exact opposite of that they are saying.

  I visited Aerie today around 6:30 PM and unfortunately had a frustrating experience.I asked an associate if they had a specific pair of shorts in a certain color and size. She returned with a completely different color, and when I pointed it out, it was very obvious they were not the same. Another employee at the register possibly a manager insisted it was the same color and did not offer to double-check if the correct item was available. Instead, I was told to order the shorts online, which wasn’t helpful since I needed them for an upcoming vacation. Also, after leaving the fitting room, I overheard the cashier complaining out loud, saying, “I hate when grown people leave their clothes inside out,” while taking items out of the fitting room. I’m not sure if it was directed at me, but it felt unprofessional and unnecessary. Overall, the customer service felt dismissive and rude, and it made me just want to stop shopping and leave
