Incredibly rude and unhelpful. Shoes were not up to par. Communication from store staff is bad. I will not be back.

I'm disappointed with this store. Unfortunately, it's the closest boutique to me since I live in Roslyn Country Estates, only a few minutes from the Americana. What upset me most wasn't the bag—it was the experience. I purchased a Lady D-Joy that came with a cute bow accessory. During the purchase, I mentioned to the sales associate that I wasn't particularly in love with the bow, but I never asked for it to be removed, left behind, or discarded. It was part of the item I purchased, and ultimately it should have been my decision what to do with it. My young daughter loves bows and charms for her handbags, and I was planning to give it to her. To my surprise, it never appeared in my box or shopping bag. It simply disappeared. I didn't make a big issue out of it at the time because it was Mother's Day weekend and also around my birthday, and I was busy enjoying time with my family. But looking back, it's disappointing. No discount was given in exchange, and the accessory was part of what I purchased. It's not about the value of the bow—it's about attention to detail and respect for the customer. Luxury shopping should feel special, and unfortunately this experience did not. At this point, I honestly think I may have a better experience shopping at Hudson Yards or online in the future.

I recently visited Dior and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I came in interested in shopping for men’s items and was already disappointed by the limited selection available. However, the service was what truly turned me away from the brand entirely. The sales associate assisting me abruptly stopped helping me to assist another customer mid-conversation, which immediately made the interaction feel dismissive and uncomfortable. I genuinely left questioning whether my age or appearance/race played a role in how I was treated, because the level of attentiveness and professionalism was noticeably lacking. (Asian woman left to help an Asian woman). I went next door to Bottega and purchased everything I needed. When I asked to see a shoe, it was simply handed to me with little to no engagement before the associate walked away. Luxury shopping is supposed to feel elevated, personal, and intentional , especially when customers are prepared to spend a significant amount of money. Instead, the experience felt cold, rushed, and transactional. At stores like Dior, clients expect service that reflects the reputation of the brand. Unfortunately, this experience felt more comparable to a standard department store interaction rather than a luxury fashion house. I left feeling unwelcome and undervalued, and because of that, I do not see myself purchasing from Dior again.

It was my first experience at this location. I came to buy shoes for myself, but I waited 10 minutes and nobody came to help me. So I went to one of the sales associates and asked about a specific pair of shoes I wanted, and he started lying to me, saying they were only available online and that he would be happy to order them for me (after ignoring me for 10 minutes). However, I know they are available in the city. It was a very strange experience, and I will never return to this store.
