  PLEASE READ!!! I've been to this location to sell to me what is gold scrap jewelry I got as a part of a inheritance. I actually been to multiple gold buying locations to shop around for the best price, because I have 10050 grams in gold bars at that scale every penny counts. These guys are pawn store workers not gold buyers. Last 2 times I came in, I weighed to the gram what my gold was and double checked the prices. I had about 33g of 22kt gold and gold was trading 4100. They told be they take 20% which I thought was fair and in line with every other gold buyer I visited.Thats about 4k melt value. As he went to weigh it. I mentioned it was 22kt and he said "yah" after looking at the stamp. He then weighed it and looked at his phone probably for the current price. Then punched a few numbers on his calculator. He then said $2800, I paused in disbelief and disappointment. I said thats a 30% cut directly. He then said, "oh wait you said 22kt right?" HE then came back with $3200 without having to scan it.Which is exactly a 22-23% cut. And I got him to $3300. which is about exactly 20%.I don't a gold buyer who if he had made a genuine error wouldn't recheck the gold himself and the $2800 which was exactly a 30% cut what karat did he calculate for that. Either he's incompetent but more likely just another dishonest pawn clerk, hoping for an extra $500 for himself on top of the $500-600. I've been here a bunch of times but and seen that clerk a bunch but he wasn't "my guy" So next time I can back I saw the person I saw majority of the time. Mind you I never made small talk, always respectful and polite and didn't really fight the smaller deals and I'm sure he made his 30% then. But you'd expect maybe he heard what happened and would be more honest. But I came back and literally 30% cut, he didnt do the whole oh its 22kt bit, but he came $600 without a fight. I had wanted some of it in cash so I could place a options trade which would've been very profitable but I got a check whatever. But Last time I ever go there period. Ill post as many review to as many places as I can and tell as many people but go to the royal gold buyers down the road weight the trip. Go to any smoke shop and buy a scale and use your phone to zoom and find a jewelry stamp.Look up price based on the karat weight and ask what their commission is ALWAYS. However I'm going to a refiner in NYC who agreed to 12% because the melt would be easy for them and the commission.

  What can I say other than amazing. Came to Daniel to sell a gold watch for a family member. We agreed on a price, lo and behold I get a phone call back shortly thereafter expressing that he made an error and gave me a price at 14k when it was 18k. I already had the check in hand, he could have easily said nothing and kept the difference and I would have never known; not Daniel. Daniel called me back and asked me to come back so he can make good and give me the difference. Man, in a world where jewelers often get a bad rap (and much too often, well deserved) Daniel is a diamond in the rough! An honest businessman that I highly recommend.
