  i like a lot of L.L. Bean products. So it’s probably obvious that I have some. Anyway, we made a special trip to visit this store. We were at the Lake George L.L. Bean store in the fall of 2026. I was a little surprised how small it seemed compared to other locations that we have been to. Especially compared to the flagship store in Maine. This L.L. Bean store just seems to be lacking in so much that L.L.Bean normally has to offer. I went there as a special trip intending on replacing an old pair and certain style of L.L. Bean shoes. But the Lake George L.L. Bean store was so limited. It was mostly used (returned) shoes. There was nothing available new (unreturned) in what I was looking for. Yes there was some somewhat similar returned shoes available. But even they were not in my size. They did have a small selection of new slippers that had different sizes available. And yes my size was available. So I did buy a pair of slippers. It was not what I was after, but I guess that I could use them. So it was not a total waste of time. Just an extra expense that I didn’t really need now. But won’t be a waste in the future. I’m not saying that this L.L. Bean is a bad store. Only that they are small and limited. They didn’t have what I needed and went out of my way to go there for. But as usual, I didn’t leave empty handed. Unfortunately I didn’t get what I came for. But I did find it days later in a much bigger L.L. Bean store down in Kingston N.Y.. That doesn’t negate the lack of product because of the Lake George’s small size. Only that it turned out better just by chance, elsewhere.

  I was there today and got the wrong tote size and they were so helpful getting me a refund and switching the tote. I really appreciated it, thanks again! Really nice, kind workers especially with my kids who were restless in the store.

  I was so excited to be able to go to an LLBean outlet as I like the quality of their things. However, don’t expect to find any kind of bargain. I came out empty handed.
