  JC Penney's looks to be racing Kohls to see which one can go out of business first. Barely saw anyone working there except for a eye contact avoiding zombie working in the men's section. The fitting room was gross with pins all over the floor and a heart monitor sticker was on the wall and it's been there since early November. The only staff that seems to make eye contact and help people are the cashiers. The one with rainbow hair was friendly and helpful.

  I had a serious issue with JCPenney Portraits. Based on the website, it should be $60 for a single headshot, $80 for three, and $180 for the full album, with the option to pick the background. When I went, I was forced to go through the full photoshoot, which I wasn't prepared for (I thought we were just doing headshots). I only dressed my top half because I just needed a single headshot. I vocalized this, but we still continued as is. When the time to review the photos came, I asked if I'd be able to choose my background based on the options presented on the website. There was apparently no option to pick the background, and the photographer told me I can edit them however once I get them. This seems like a serious mismatch between the website and the service. And I was forced to pay for the full photoshoot. I wasn't presented with the option to pick a single headshot or three pictures. I had to go through with the full photoshoot, though it was discounted by some because the photographer was kind enough to discount it based on the late start. There is a serious mismatch between what the website says and how the service actually works, which led me to pay significantly more than I expected (once again, I was forced to pay for the full album and didn't get a single or three photo option) and I didn't get the choice of background. I was really confused throughout this experience, and I was vocal about my expectations but there wasn't any accommodation which makes me feel like this service will try to hustle you. Wouldn't recommend this one. It is really easy to be misled by the false marketing and I think a local photographer or even a blank wall in your room will function as needed.

  Says they close at 8 but they for sure close a lot sooner. Hours of operation need adjusting to reflect.
