Your adventure starts here. When you’re stocking up for a hunt, preparing for some morning fishing, or embarking on a family camping trip, Bass Pro Shops is the first and only place you’ll need to stop. Against a stunning backdrop of wildlife displays and outdoor scenes, our showrooms house a huge selection of gear from all the industry’s top brands like Cabela's, RedHead, Lowrance, Under Armour, Columbia, Carhartt, Shimano, The North Face, Ascend, and more! We carry an excellent selection of clothing, shoes, and boots for men, women, and children as well. Come check out your local Bass Pro Shops location now!
Employees are misinformed and untrained. You will receive incorrect information from person to person. The most unhelpful staff I have ever found at any bass pro shop and poor customer service. Will not be returning to shop at this specific location again. I would save yourself the headache and skip too and go to another location or local shops/dealers for your needs.

Was super pumped to have a bass pro right by my house. I went twice now and it’s definitely not what it used to be if you’re a fisherman. You used to be able to find anything you wanted and if it was a good quality brand they usually had it. Now, it’s like 70% Bass pro or XPS brand. What a shame

I've tried as much as I'm willing. I'll still stop in for quick little things, or if I have no other choice. Service can be painfully slow and the folks at the gun counters are literally as close to useless as they can be. I have been able to purchase exactly 1 firearm from this place (Beretta Silver Pigeon), it took an insane amount of time to complete the purchase. What other shops have done in 10 minutes, takes these guys 1.5 hours. This leads to an insane lack of production. I've wanted to look at another Beretta, been in 3 times trying to see it. I've left all 3 times without ever getting a chance to get hands on it, or even an acknowledgement that I even exist. They don't even have to be busy. There can be 3 people working the gun counter and if there is 1, or god forbid 2 customers there, complete grid lock. They literally will not even acknowledge you're there! No, "hey, sorry we are busy, be right with you"... Literally NOTHING, acting like you don't even exist. There are certainly some good folks in the store, one guy in the ammo section in particular (I hate to say, I can't recall his name), he seems to be there in the evening on the week days. But the gun counter in particular is pathetic. It's literally like they have a few guys there that are only there for the employee discount, and customers just get in the way. I know I'm far from the only person feeling this. A buddy purchased a pistol from them a few months ago, he mentioned how painful it was. Had to go back in several times, and each time it took forever. Being in another shop, another customer came in asking if they could get some thing and that they were at Bass Pro to buy it, but the service was awful and super slow... The gun counter needs a serious overhaul, staff and probably process wise. I don't want to hear it's government/NY state paperwork issues. Other shops in the area have zero issues getting you handled far quicker and efficiently.

Definitely a man's place despite having some womens clothing. Very cool inside - antique cabinetry & hardware, animal heads on the walls (dozens and dozens), very rustic motif as you would expect. Lots of hunting, fishing and outdoor adventure stuff at not bad prices. Had I not grown up with deer heads on the walls I might have been put off at the # but it's definitely not for the faint of heart. It's an experience along with the store and I got what I wanted.

*Update* After submitting this review Bass Pro reached out to discuss this situation and made it right. Not something every business is willing to do. Because of this, I am changing my previous 2 star review to 4 stars.

Great store, but be very cautious about the boat service department.
I brought my boat in with a suspected bent axle and charged $170 for a diagnosis that took roughly 5–10 minutes to confirm what was already communicated upfront. The repair quote came in at $738 for the Tracker axle, plus a $400 "shipping" fee — though the part doesn't actually ship separately. I was told the axle gets tossed into an incoming boat delivery at no real cost. That $400 is pure profit dressed up as a shipping charge. Labor was quoted at $150/hr for 2–3 hours, putting the total well over $1,500.
Multiple independent shops quoted installation of a top-of-the-line aftermarket axle for roughly one-third of that total. This isn't a minor markup — it borders on predatory pricing for anyone who doesn't know to shop around.
One genuine positive: the service advisor was professional and courteous, even offering to pull the boat into the shop to keep it out of the rain.
Bass Pro is a welcome addition to the area and great for gear and supplies. For boat repairs, though, get quotes from local shops first. The savings could easily reach $1,000 or more.
