Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.
All lululemon locations have strong ties to our local communities.

This is where the third star is lost. While the gear is durable, the price point has reached a level where you are paying significantly for the brand name. With many "dupe" brands offering similar fabric technology and longevity at half the cost, it’s becoming harder to justify the premium price unless you are deeply invested in the specific logo or community.

Upon entering the store to purchase a new gym bag, we were immediately followed by an employee who did not greet us or offer assistance. After selecting the bag, the same employee rushed toward the front of the store as if anticipating that we were going to leave without paying. In reality, we were still shopping and looking to purchase a matching wallet to go with the bag.
The experience felt uncomfortable and unwarranted.

Staff is nice, polite and welcome to different groups of people. Enjoyed my experience from start to end.
