  I decided to visit this store despite seeing multiple reviews that mentioned concerns about racism. I wanted to keep an open mind and not judge based on other people’s experiences alone. Unfortunately, my visit ended up reflecting exactly what those reviews described. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. I noticed a clear difference in how I was treated compared to other customers—less acknowledgment, minimal assistance, and an overall sense of being watched rather than helped. When I did try to engage with staff, the interactions felt dismissive and cold, as if my presence was an inconvenience. I really wanted my experience to be different, but it wasn’t. It’s disappointing because no one should feel uncomfortable or unwelcome in a place of business. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works toward creating a more inclusive and respectful environment for all customers.

  Lovely place with beautiful, stylish and elegant pieces. The shop assistant was absolutely wonderful, so kind, fun and polite (yeap, that's a great combination, isn't it?). Oh, and we got a nice tote bag as a token of appreciation for our purchase!

  Beautiful, high quality, modern jewelry and a very welcoming atmosphere. I was assisted by the kind and patient Sydney who heard my cluelessness and walked me through different anniversary ideas I had for my partner (this store is one of her favorites) We're both very happy with what she helped me to select.

  Hailey is a gem! She helped me as I talked about the various earring styles I’ve been thinking about lately. Ended up finding 2 lovely earrings & so happy with my purchase. I just know if I didn’t buy it then, that I’d be thinking about it afterwards! Thanks, Hailey, for your hospitality! I must say Sydney was a gem too & was busy helping another customer but was just as friendly towards me when she had the opportunity to talk! I’d def go back to this location. Happened to have stumbled upon Gorjana during my walk! Can’t wait to see how the jewelry upholds!

  Monday, February 12th, 2024, My sister and I decided to come into Gorjana in cobble hill. There were three young women working in the store (they were white) one greeted me and my sister, but the others didn’t. They acted like we didn’t exist and they weren’t friendly at all. Me and my sister were the only customers in the store. We spent a little while browsing to see what we wanted, and the other two workers kept staring at me and my sister, making us very uncomfortable. They started to watch and whisper and we heard one of the them say “they’re making me anxious.” And they continued to watch and stare at us as if we were stealing. You guys need to hire different workers who aren’t prejudice against black people. This was very unprofessional and rude. Also, an Asian girl came in the store, she browsed and asked questions and she left. The two workers started to talk about her in a negative way. This isn’t right and you guys need new staff. Black people, please do not shop here, they are prejudiced.
